The Deputy Service Manager will support the delivery and development of the service working closely with, service manager clinicians, team leaders, multi-disciplinary staff team and Shared Care and Pharmacy partners.   The Service will provide a range of recovery-oriented harm reduction, medically assisted recovery, structured psycho-social interventions, and education/prevention and outreach services, alongside provision of Shared Care, Pharmacy Supervised Consumption and Pharmacy Needle exchange provision to adult drug and alcohol service users across the service area. The post holder’s remit is to create an outcome focussed recovery culture and provide a constant stimulus for improving services in a learning environment.   The post-holder will be required to work flexibly across operational sites as required and work flexibly within an agreed number of hours to maintain the most appropriate level of service provision.   The post holder will have core responsibility to manage, monitor and develop partnerships, pathways to support the integration of the system. Having accountability to ensure that clear and effective communication is in place along with effective governance and performance against agreed targets and outcomes.   The post holder will be expected to ensure performance is of a high level and KPI’s are achieved and will attend regular meetings and feedback with the commissioning team.
