Overview

Change Grow Live (CGL) is a national charity committed to helping people make positive changes in their lives. Guided by our values of Be Open, Be Compassionate and Be Bold, we work alongside individuals to find the right treatment, care and support to achieve lasting recovery and wellbeing.

We are looking for a passionate and proactive Lead Nurse to help shape our vision in how we provide clinical services to individuals whose lives have been affected by drugs and alcohol.   You will be joining a dedicated multi-disciplinary outreach team working across West Sussex (Drug & Alcohol Response Team DART). This exciting role focuses on engaging people who are experiencing rough sleeping, or who are at risk of rough sleeping, and supporting them to access drug and alcohol treatment, harm reduction interventions and wider recovery support.

You will also be working with our Cluster Lead Nurse providing leadership and strategic oversight for the county, including the ongoing development of Buvidal provision in the service and clincial and operationals supervision for our nursing team.

This is a rewarding and varied role for someone who is resilient, compassionate and motivated to improve outcomes for people facing multiple disadvantage. Working flexibly across community and street-based settings, you will build trusting relationships, reduce barriers to treatment and provide assertive outreach to individuals who we might usually struggle to engage with traditional services.

You will be based from one of our hubs in Worthing, Chichester or Crawley, but be prepared to travel across the county.

You should be comfortable working outdoors in different weather conditions, adapting your approach to meet people where they are.

No two days are the same. We're looking for someone who is curious, flexible and a skilled communicator, with a commitment to person-centred, trauma-informed practice. Alongside direct work with service users, you'll maintain accurate records, contribute to safeguarding and risk management processes and support service development through partnership working and shared learning.
