Recovery Coordinator - In Your Corner

We are currently recruiting a Recovery Coordinator - In Your Corner to work within HMP Five Wells. Our ideal candidate will have the skills and experience to assess and engage with our service users, ensuring that they access the right intervention at the right time, in a way that best meets their needs.

Where: HMP Five Wells   

Hours: 37.5 per week

Contract Type: 12 Month Fixed Term Contract 

Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours. 

The successful candidate will need to complete an enhanced DBS check and obtain HMPPS security clearance.

About the role: 

The role will support the delivery of In Your Corner (IYC) within a prison setting, using a relational, trauma-informed and strengths-based approach.  This role works predominantly with younger people in prison on a one-to-one basis, building trusted relationships that create opportunities to challenge harmful gender norms, explore healthier understandings of masculinity, and support positive identity development.

• Sensitivity in working with complex and diverse needs.
• Demonstrate a strong recovery focus and have knowledge of a range of psychosocial interventions.
• Ability to manage change successfully in a way that prioritises the needs of service users.
• Understand the importance of information governance processes and commit to follow and apply all necessary safeguards.
• Seek out learning opportunities to improve and broaden your professional knowledge and skills and to contribute and oversee the learning and development of others.
