Overview

Quality and Governance Coordinator – Camden

Turn insight into safer, stronger services.

Quality and governance should do more than demonstrate compliance. Done well, it drives learning, strengthens practice and improves the experience and safety of people using our services.

We’re looking for a Quality and Governance Coordinator to join our Camden service and help us keep quality, learning and continuous improvement at the centre of how we work.

Working closely with our Quality and Governance Lead and Service Managers, you’ll bring together information, insight and action — helping us understand what is working, where we can improve and what needs to change.

The opportunity

This is a role with real reach across the service.

You’ll coordinate Treatment and Care Review panels, support investigations into patient safety incidents and contribute to high-quality reports for internal and external audiences.

You’ll help turn learning into action. Whether that comes from an incident, an audit, a Serious Case Review, an independent investigation or frontline practice, you’ll make sure important learning doesn’t sit in a report — it becomes part of how we work.

You’ll also support quality improvement plans, develop and undertake targeted audits, identify emerging risks and use data to help teams understand performance and strengthen service delivery.

Above all, you’ll build relationships. You’ll work alongside operational teams, managers and partners, creating constructive conversations around quality and helping colleagues feel confident about improving practice.

Working in Camden and for the Camden CGL (Change Grow Live) service is both rewarding and diverse. Camden is a vibrant borough with a rich mix of cultures, communities, and experiences, creating opportunities to support people from all walks of life. At Camden CGL, there is a strong focus on compassion, recovery, and person-centred care, with teams working collaboratively to help individuals affected by drug and alcohol issues achieve positive outcomes. The service offers a supportive and inclusive working environment where staff are encouraged to make a meaningful difference to the lives of local residents every day.

Location:Camden
Contract:
Permanent
Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week

Please note: Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, the salary and any associated payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.

The role requires flexibility to work across operational sites in Camden and may occasionally involve evening or weekend working where service delivery requires it.

Responsibilities

What you’ll bring

You’ll understand what strong governance looks like within a regulated service and be comfortable working with quality, risk and patient safety information.

You’ll bring knowledge of CQC regulations and Key Lines of Enquiry, alongside an understanding of patient safety processes, clinical practice standards, safeguarding and quality improvement.

You’ll also be able to:

  • analyse information and data, identify themes and translate findings into clear actions

  • write concise, credible reports for a range of audiences

  • influence and challenge constructively, including when working with senior colleagues

  • manage competing priorities, deadlines and detailed pieces of work

  • work confidently and autonomously while remaining closely connected to the wider team

  • build effective relationships across services and with external partners.

You’ll be curious about how services can become better, confident asking the right questions and able to bring people with you when improvements are needed.

Why Change Grow Live?

At Change Grow Live, our values — Be open. Be compassionate. Be bold. — shape how we work.

In this role, that means being open about what we can learn, compassionate in how we approach people and incidents, and bold enough to challenge existing ways of working when there is an opportunity to make services safer and stronger.

If you enjoy turning evidence into improvement and want your work to have a visible impact on quality and the experiences of people using our services, we’d like to hear from you.
