Responsibilities

About you:

You're someone who enjoys understanding how things work and finding better ways to do them. You combine analytical thinking with strong communication skills, enabling you to work effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues. You're naturally curious, ask thoughtful questions, and enjoy turning complex problems into practical solutions.

You understand that successful digital products are built through collaboration and can confidently engage with stakeholders at all levels to understand their needs, challenge assumptions where appropriate, and help shape effective outcomes.

You may already be an experienced Business Analyst, or you may have developed strong analysis, process improvement, or requirements gathering skills in a related role. Most importantly, you're passionate about improving services and helping teams deliver meaningful change.

We're particularly interested in people who can demonstrate:

  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
  • The ability to gather, analyse, and document business requirements.
  • Experience facilitating workshops, meetings, and discovery sessions.
  • A structured approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Confidence translating business needs into clear requirements, user stories, or process maps.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A collaborative mindset and willingness to work across multidisciplinary teams.
  • An interest in continuous improvement and delivering positive outcomes for users.

This role would suit someone who enjoys bringing clarity to complexity, building strong relationships, and helping teams deliver services that make a genuine difference.

If you're excited by this opportunity but don't feel your experience perfectly matches every requirement, we'd still love to hear from you. We recognise that skills and experience can be gained in many different ways, and we value potential, transferable skills, and diverse perspectives alongside direct experience.

What You'll Be Doing

As our Business Analyst, you will:

  • Analyse business processes, systems, and ways of working to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Work closely with colleagues, stakeholders, and people who use our services to understand needs and requirements.
  • Create user stories, personas, process maps, and business cases that support successful delivery.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, developers, testers, and wider stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Support the design, testing, and implementation of system changes.
  • Communicate complex information clearly to audiences with different levels of technical understanding.
  • Help ensure our digital products align with organisational strategy, user needs, and operational objectives.
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities throughout projects and change initiatives.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of business analysis practices across the organisation.

We're committed to creating an inclusive recruitment process and workplace. If you require any adjustments during the recruitment process, please let us know.
