We have an exciting opportunity for a Recovery Coordinator with the Engagement team who has the skills and experience to assess and engage with our service users, ensuring that they access the right intervention at the right time, in a way that best meets their needs.
The post holder acts as a single point of contact for all referrals, managing them efficiently and carrying out detailed triage assessments to determine appropriate care pathways. They provide telephone-based support, including advice, harm reduction guidance, brief interventions, and signposting to relevant community services, using motivational interviewing techniques and a person-centred approach to support engagement and positive change.
Our service operates flexibly to support clients, including late openings during the week and a Saturday morning provision. You will be expected to take part in a rota alongside other Recovery Coordinators to support these hours, and to undertake other duties as required to meet the needs of the service or service users.

Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.

A key part of the role involves building rapport and engaging service users, including those with complex needs, and delivering structured one-to-one brief interventions where appropriate. The role also requires close collaboration with professionals and partner agencies, promoting a “no wrong door” approach to ensure inclusive and accessible service delivery. In addition, the Recovery coordinator must maintain accurate records, uphold confidentiality and data protection standards, and respond appropriately to safeguarding and risk concerns. The role demands strong organisational skills, emotional resilience, and the ability to work effectively in a busy, fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
