As Recovery Motivator at Change Grow Live you will support the delivery of high quality service provision by creating an ambitious service user focussed culture and engaging staff to provide a continually improving and innovative service. The Recovery Motivator role is designed to enable ‘first steps into employment’ and will be based within the Substance Misuse Setting. We currently have a role available within our Sever Multilple DisadvancgesTeam service- based in Mansfield

 

Where: Mansfield

Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week

Contract Type: 12 Months Fixed Term Contract 

 

*Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.

Responsibilities

 About The Role: 

  • Be a welcoming and inspiring presence within the Team.
  • Support individuals transitioning from structured treatment into long-term community recovery.
  • Improve engagement with rough sleepers
  • Strengthen pathways into treatment
  • Increase capacity and presence across key sites
  • Enhance multi-agency working
  • Improve Data through engagement, needs, and interventions
  • Provide evidence-based advice and support to service users in accordance with Change Grow Live policies, agreed protocols and national legislation
  • Liaise with the Management Team to identify opportunities to improve assertive outreach across Nottinghamshire
    Contribute towards reports on the activity and effectiveness of the role outcomes
  • Engage proactively with both line management and supervision and maintain a current knowledge of appropriate interventions

 

About You:

  • Passionate about recovery and helping others.
  • Compassionate, empathetic and non-judgmental.
  • Creative and enthusiastic about community engagement.
  • A positive communicator and relationship-builder.
  • Lived experience of drug and/or alcohol misuse is welcomed.
  • Experience of or the proven ability to engage service multiple disadvantaged (SMD) services users
  • Evidence of a commitment to service user involvement and development
  • Experience of auditing to inform evaluation and service development
  • Experience of risk assessment and risk management procedures
  • Knowledge of the issues facing people who are homeless or rough sleeping
