at Winstone House in Blackpool, supporting individuals on their recovery journey from drug and alcohol use.

 

This is a rewarding opportunity to deliver meaningful, evidence-based interventions while working alongside a dedicated and supportive team.

 

Location: Blackpool (Winstone House)
Hours: Part-time – 18 hours per week

 

Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.

Responsibilities

About the Role

As a PSI Worker, you will play a key role in delivering psychosocial interventions that promote recovery and resilience. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering core psychosocial interventions, including 1:1 key working, group/pod sessions, harm minimisation, and brief interventions
  • Developing and facilitating group-based recovery programmes tailored to service user needs
  • Contributing to multi-disciplinary assessments, risk management, and care planning using trauma-informed and whole-person approaches
  • Working collaboratively with clinical and prescribing colleagues to deliver specialist interventions
  • Supporting onward referrals to treatment services and community support organisations

About You

We’re looking for someone who is compassionate, skilled, and experienced in working with individuals affected by substance use. You will ideally have:

  • Experience delivering group or pod-based interventions, including managing group dynamics, conflict, and challenging behaviour
  • Strong ability to assess and respond to group needs effectively
  • Knowledge of CBT, REBT, and drug and alcohol recovery frameworks
  • Experience in Motivational Interviewing and Psychosocial Interventions
  • A solid understanding of substance and alcohol-related challenges, including cravings, triggers, and relapse

  • This role is subject to an enhanced DBS check and vetting through HMPPS / National Probation Service
