West Sussex | Permanent | Full Time | 37.5 Hours per Week

Lead a New Service. Shape Better Outcomes.

Great leaders don't just manage teams – they inspire them to achieve more.

At Change Grow Live, we believe everyone deserves the opportunity to build a healthier, more fulfilling future. Behind every positive outcome is a team of passionate people working together to make a real difference.

We're looking for an inspiring Team Leader to lead our brand-new Remote Interventions Team in West Sussex. This is an exciting opportunity to establish a new way of working, support a dedicated team of Senior Workers and help shape a service that will improve access to treatment for people with complex needs across the county.

If you're an experienced leader who enjoys developing people, building partnerships and delivering high-quality services, we'd love to hear from you.

About the Role

As Team Leader, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day leadership of our Remote Interventions Team, ensuring people receive safe, effective and person-centred support wherever they access our services.

You'll create an environment where your team feels supported, empowered and confident to deliver excellent care, while working closely with operational leaders and partner organisations to continually improve the service.

This is a varied leadership role where no two days are the same. You'll balance operational management with coaching, quality improvement, partnership working and service development, ensuring the team delivers consistently high standards of care.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Leading, motivating and developing a team of Senior Workers through regular supervision, coaching and performance management.

  • Creating a positive, inclusive team culture where learning, collaboration and continuous improvement are encouraged.

  • Supporting the recruitment, induction and ongoing development of new colleagues.

  • Working alongside the Deputy Service Manager to develop and improve service delivery.

  • Building strong relationships with partner agencies and stakeholders across West Sussex.

  • Supporting staff to deliver high-quality, evidence-based interventions that improve outcomes for people using our services.

  • Providing constructive feedback through observations and quality assurance activity.

  • Promoting safeguarding, governance and best practice across the team.

  • Working as part of the Operational Leadership Team to help maintain safe, welcoming environments for colleagues and people accessing our services.

Location: West Sussex

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Please note: Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.

Responsibilities

About You

We're looking for someone who leads with compassion, builds trust quickly and enjoys helping others succeed.

You'll bring:

  • Experience leading or supervising teams within substance misuse, health, social care or a related setting.

  • A strong understanding of substance use, recovery and supporting adults with multiple and complex needs.

  • Excellent knowledge of safeguarding legislation and how to embed safe practice within services.

  • Experience developing positive relationships with partner organisations and multidisciplinary teams.

  • Knowledge of psychosocial and evidence-based interventions.

  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.

  • Confidence using data and performance information to support continuous improvement.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to remain calm and solution-focused under pressure.

  • A genuine passion for supporting people to achieve positive, lasting change.

Why Join West Sussex?

This is an opportunity to be part of something new.

You'll play a key role in establishing and leading an innovative service designed to increase access to treatment and improve outcomes for people who may otherwise struggle to engage with support.

  • Contributory pension scheme.

  • Ongoing learning, leadership development and career progression opportunities.

  • Employee discounts on shopping, travel, cinema and more.

  • Generous Refer-a-Friend Scheme.
