Overview

Change Grow Live are a charity dedicated to the belief that we can make a difference to the people who use our services lives. Our core values are ‘Be open, be compassionate and be bold’ and our teams apply these daily, offering support and respect in a safe environment, treating each user as an individual and working with them to find the right treatment and care options.

We are seeking a proactive and committed Project Manager to play a key role in delivering high-quality, community-focused services across Edinburgh. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional who is passionate about governance, partnership working, and driving service excellence within a regulated environment.

This role plays a vital part in supporting the effective delivery of the Edinburgh Communities Service, ensuring full compliance with contractual, governance, and registration requirements. Working closely with the Registered Manager, you will also operate independently to maintain high standards across the service. The position offers a dynamic opportunity to build and manage key partnerships, contribute to meaningful reporting, and represent the organisation at stakeholder meetings—making a tangible impact within the community while helping to drive quality and continuous improvement.

Where: Edinburgh

Full Time Hours: 37.5 per week,
Full Time Salary Range: £39,891.91 - £44,471.72 dependent on experience (based on full time working hours pro rata for part time)

Contract: 6 Months Secondment

Responsibilities

The post holder will be responsible for identifying, assessing and acting on areas for improvement to support the ongoing development of the service. They will work with a strong understanding of SSSC and Care Inspectorate compliance requirements, supporting the Registered Manager to ensure appropriate improvement plans are in place and monitored effectively. The role requires both theoretical insight and practical support for the Edinburgh leadership team, with the flexibility to respond to changing service needs. In addition, the post holder will maintain regular communication with colleagues and stakeholders to promote shared learning, ensure good practice is clearly documented, and that any areas requiring improvement are supported by clear, time-bound action plans. They will also provide wider service support in the absence of the Registered Manager and Head of Services.

The successful candidate will bring considerable experience of working at a management level within health and social care services, with a clear ability to deliver high-quality, person-centred provision. They will demonstrate a strong understanding of performance management frameworks, effective governance, and quality assurance processes, alongside a robust knowledge of contractual requirements and compliance standards, including those set by the Scottish Social Services Council and Care Inspectorate.

They will possess a sound understanding of recovery pathways across whole treatment systems, including community, residential, and prison-based services. Experience in project development and leading service operations is essential, as is a proven ability to work within key performance indicators, service agreements, and structured delivery systems. The role also requires experience in staff supervision and appraisal, with the ability to support, develop, and manage teams effectively.
