Specialist Accredited and Regulated Trainer

Learning & Organisational Development | National (Home-based with travel) 

We’re continuing to strengthen how we support learning across Change Grow Live, with a growing focus on accredited and regulated programmes. 

In this role, you’ll play a central part in delivering high-quality training that builds the skills, confidence and consistency of our staff and volunteers, helping ensure people accessing our services receive the best possible care. 

About the role 

This is a national, home-based role with regular travel to services. 

At its core, this is a facilitation role. You’ll lead the delivery of accredited and regulated learning programmes, creating engaging, inclusive learning experiences, and support the development of communities of practice to help people to develop and succeed. 

Alongside delivery, you’ll assess learners, provide structured feedback, and contribute to the ongoing improvement of programmes, ensuring learning remains relevant to practice and aligned with organisational priorities.  

What you’ll be doing 

• Delivering high-quality, engaging training (face-to-face and virtual)  

• Assessing learners through observation, evidence review and structured feedback  

• Supporting learners to build confidence and achieve recognised outcomes  

• Contributing to the development and improvement of accredited programmes  

• Maintaining accurate learner records and assessment documentation in line with awarding body and quality assurance requirements 

• Working with colleagues and services to ensure learning is relevant to practice  

• Using feedback and evaluation to continuously improve delivery  

What we’re looking for 

We’re looking for a confident and skilled facilitator who can bring accredited learning to life. 

You’ll bring: 

• Experience of accredited or regulated learning, including assessment practice; you’ll hold or are willing to work towards a recognised assessor qualification (e.g. Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement) 

• Experience of working within drug and alcohol, health and social care, or closely related services 

• Strong experience of delivering engaging learning in different settings 

• The ability to support and motivate learners from diverse backgrounds  

• Strong organisation and the ability to manage multiple programmes  

• A collaborative approach and the ability to build credibility with services  

You’ll be approachable, inclusive and focused on making learning meaningful.
