Responsibilities

About the role

This is a national, home-based role with regular travel to services.

You’ll play a key role in delivering training while also leading the quality and consistency of that delivery across the organisation. Alongside this, you’ll help ensure that training connects meaningfully with wider practice development, through feedback, reflection and approaches such as communities of practice, so that learning leads to real change in day-to-day work.

You’ll also line manage and support a team of trainers, helping them to continuously develop their facilitation and impact.

What you’ll be doing

  • Delivering engaging, learner-centred training (both in-person and online)
  • Leading quality assurance activity, including observations and structured feedback
  • Using feedback and evaluation data to improve delivery and content
  • Supporting the ongoing development of training materials and programmes
  • Line managing and developing a team of trainers
  • Working with services to understand needs and align learning to practice

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who is as comfortable in a training room (or virtual session) as they are stepping back and asking whether learning is actually improving performance.

You’ll bring:

  • Strong experience of facilitating learning in different settings
  • Experience of using feedback or data to improve learning
  • The ability to support and develop others through coaching or line management
  • Credibility with operational colleagues and an understanding of real-world practice

You’ll be reflective, collaborative and focused on making learning count.

What to expect

  • Home-based working with regular travel (including occasional overnight stays)
  • A supportive, national L&OD team
  • A chance to shape how learning supports practice at scale

This is a role where you can directly influence both the quality of learning and the impact it has in practice, working with colleagues who care about getting that right.

If this resonates with you and you're eager to embark on a fulfilling journey with Change Grow Live, we'd be delighted to connect with you.
