About the Role

  • High‑quality governance, risk management, safeguarding and audit processes.
  • Staff leadership including line management, supervision, coaching, development and succession planning.
  • Service user involvement, feedback and co‑production.

This is a dynamic, hands‑on management role requiring a balance of operational leadership, quality oversight and strategic input.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a confident, experienced leader who can inspire teams, maintain excellent partnerships and drive high‑quality delivery.

You will have:

  • Extensive experience working at management level within substance misuse, alcohol, drug or criminal justice services.
  • Strong understanding of performance management, governance, quality frameworks and CQC standards.
  • Proven ability to manage staff teams, volunteers and sessional workers effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence, motivate and engage partners and stakeholders.
  • Experience of service development, project leadership and risk management.
  • A commitment to equality, diversity, non‑judgemental practice and positive outcomes for service users.
  • The ability to remain calm under pressure, work flexibly and respond to the needs of a busy operational service.

This role requires high integrity, professional curiosity, and a genuine passion for improving lives.
