We are excited to offer an opportunity for a Project Manager to lead operations and partnership delivery at our River Croxteth Hub in Liverpool, supporting adults affected by substance use and a range of complex needs.

 

As Project Manager, you will provide strong operational leadership, oversee a multidisciplinary team, and ensure the hub delivers high‑quality, trauma‑informed interventions. You will coordinate partnership activity, maintain strong relationships with community organisations, and ensure effective pathways into treatment, recovery, and wrap‑around support.

 

You will be accountable for performance management, safeguarding oversight, quality assurance, staff development and driving continuous improvement across the hub. Your leadership will help create a safe, value‑driven space where service users feel heard, supported and encouraged to build their best possible future.

Full Time Salary: £39,891.91 – £44,471.72*

*Full‑time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 per week. For part‑time roles, salary and benefits are pro‑rata.

Responsibilities

About the role

  • Lead and oversee the operational delivery of the Croxteth Hub, ensuring services remain trauma‑informed, recovery‑focused and aligned with local and national guidance.
  • Manage and develop a multidisciplinary team, providing supportive direction, reflective supervision, and performance oversight.
  • Build and maintain strong partnership relationships with community organisations, health services, criminal justice partners, and other key stakeholders.
  • Ensure robust safeguarding practice, working closely with Designated Safeguarding Leads to identify and manage risks relating to adults, children and families.
  • Use reflective practice, observed practice and coaching to develop staff skills and ensure high‑quality, evidence‑based interventions.
  • Oversee accurate data collection, outcome monitoring, performance reporting and compliance with service specifications and CGL policies.
  • Promote service user involvement, empowerment and co‑production whenever possible.
  • Drive continuous improvement across the hub, identifying opportunities to enhance accessibility, improve pathways and strengthen community engagement.
  • Create a psychologically safe, inclusive and enabling environment for service users and staff alike.

About you

  • Experience working with adults affected by substance misuse, complex needs or related challenges.
  • Strong leadership or project management experience.
  • Excellent understanding of substance use, harm reduction, and evidence‑based psychosocial approaches.
  • Experience of line management, reflective supervision and staff development.
  • Strong safeguarding knowledge with experience embedding safe, effective practice.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships across multiple agencies.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise, adapt and remain calm under pressure.
  • Commitment to improving outcomes for adults and supporting individuals to maximise their potential.
