As a People Shared Services Advisor, you’ll be the first point of contact for employment relations and HR advice, providing clear, confident, and compassionate guidance to managers and colleagues across Change Grow Live.
Working in a hybrid model, you’ll combine flexibility with collaboration, supporting services nationally while being part of a connected and supportive People function.
In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to:
Lead on first-line employment relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, capability, and absence management
Provide expert advice on reasonable adjustments, flexible working, and organisational policy
Triage complex cases, ensuring appropriate escalation to specialist teams
Work closely with People Business Partners, Recruitment, Payroll and Systems teams
Support key organisational priorities including TUPE, tenders, and service transformation
Ensure accurate case management through HR systems and shared service platforms
Identify and manage risk, ensuring best practice and compliance at all times
This role offers real breadth — combining casework, advisory, project support, and organisational change exposure.
Hours: Full Time 37.5 hours per week
Location: National Role based at your closest HR office (Leeds, Brighton, Manchester)
Full Time Salary Range*: £32,002.35 - £34,214.21*
*Please note: Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.
This is a national your base will be your nearest Change Grow Live HR office, and there will be opportunities to work from this location from time to time.
You are someone who brings both technical HR expertise and emotional intelligence, able to navigate complex situations with professionalism and care.
You will:
Have strong experience in employment relations and HR advisory work
Demonstrate a solid understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice
Be confident supporting and influencing managers at all levels
Communicate clearly, calmly, and with impact — even in complex or sensitive situations
Be highly organised, able to manage competing priorities and deliver to deadlines
Work collaboratively, building trusted relationships across teams
Be values-led, with a genuine commitment to inclusion, fairness and belonging
A CIPD Level 3 qualification (or equivalent experience) is essential, and experience within a regulated, healthcare or charity setting would be advantageous.
