We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our Inspire Lancashire Education, Training & Employment (ETE) team as an Employment & Training Co-ordinator. This role supports individuals engaged with the service to access education, training and employment opportunities. The post-holder will provide information, advice and guidance, deliver training and group sessions and manage a caseload of participants. Working closely with individuals as part of their wider treatment and recovery plans, the role aims to help people gain qualifications, progress into volunteering or employment, and build confidence, motivation and personal development.

 

Where: Chorley, Lancashire 

Hours: Full time, 37.5 per week across

Full Time Salary: £27,861.26 - £32,002.35 per annum, pro rata for part time*

 

*Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.

Responsibilities

The successful applicant will have:

  • Experience of working in Education or Training, Employment Placement or Welfare to Work
  • Information, Advice and Guidance Qualification or a willingness to work towards
  • Up to date knowledge of the benefit system
  • Good IT skills, able to create and maintain accurate records and high-quality written reports
  • An awareness of the barriers faced by people with complex needs when trying to access Education, Training and Employment opportunities
  • A flair for developing productive relationships with a variety of internal colleague’s and stakeholders
