As our Partnership Development and Training Lead, you will play a vital role in ensuring that the people we support receive meaningful, robust, and holistic care. You will help strengthen multi‑agency collaboration across the local health and social care system, ensuring that partners and professionals have the knowledge, pathways, and support they need to work with individuals experiencing drug and alcohol challenges.

 

Location: Barnet

Hours: Full Time, 37.5 hours per week (this post will include weekend and evening work)

Full Time Salary Range: £35,220.59 - £37,184.91 (Based on full time hours, pro rata for part time) 

Allowance: Outer London Weighting: £2,195.72

Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract until end of March 2028

 

*Please note: Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.

Responsibilities

About the role: 

A key part of your role will be building and expanding our partnership networks. This includes identifying gaps, creating new links, and ensuring partners are informed about the treatment we provide, emerging trends, drug alerts, and best practice guidance. You will deliver training and upskilling across statutory, non‑statutory, and third‑sector organisations, helping to embed a consistent and informed approach across the community.

 

You will work closely with healthcare settings including Primary Care Networks, GP Shared Care, Mental Health services, and Hospitals. Acting as a key point of contact, you will strengthen communication, develop co‑produced pathways, and support joint working that improves access to treatment.

 

You will also contribute to service development by supporting audits, reviews, and continuous improvement activities, ensuring the service maintains high professional standards and positive outcomes.

 

This is a dynamic and varied role that offers you the opportunity to make a system‑wide impact through partnership working, workforce development, and community education.

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven Experience: of developing, coordinating, and delivering training and workshops.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to liaise with a diverse audience of people; service users, professionals, senior management, commissioners.
  • Experience of contributing to project development.
  • Strong Leadership Skills: Experience managing and developing teams, helping staff gain the skills and confidence to deliver impactful interventions for diverse groups, including those with co-occurring conditions.
  • Commitment to Learning & Development: A proactive approach in self-development, as well as supporting the growth and development of the team. This role will help shape the team’s capabilities and ensure that all team members are equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed.
  • Adaptability and Flexibility: The role will involve working across different operational sites.  The successful candidate will need to be flexible and adaptable to changing needs, while still delivering the best possible service.
