We have an exciting opportunity for a Entry into service Assessment worker to join our team who has the skills and experience to assess and engage with our service users, ensuring that they access the right intervention at the right time, in a way that best meets their needs. 

 

With this role you’ll be working as part of - River - Liverpool Drug and Alcohol service. The team supports people with their drug and/or alcohol issues across the city.

 

Location: Liverpool (base is Croxteth but may be required to work from sites across liverpool and community locations)

Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week 

Full time Salary Range: £27,861.26 - £32,002.35 dependent on experience, pro rata for part time hours

Contract Type: Permanent

 

*Please note: Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours

Responsibilities

About the Role:

Assessment is the key opportunity to engage people and to ensure that they access the right
intervention at the right time, in a way that best meets their needs.
The Entry into Services (EIS) Assessment worker will work with service users at the point of entry into the service.
The post holder will develop the service user plan (SUP) to record the ongoing assessment, review and management of goals, risks and actions.
You will advise service users about the options that are available to them both within the service and the wider community and offer them appropriate knowledge, advice and equipment to
enable them to keep themselves safe.

 

 

About You:

  • Possess knowledge and experience in delivering interventions for service users affected by substance use.
  • Excel in both verbal and written communication, with proficient IT skills.
  • Demonstrate proactive qualities, working independently with excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
  • Hold a strong understanding of mental health interventions, services, and best practices.
  • Thrive as a supportive team player with exceptional interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating with a diverse range of professionals, agencies, and internal/external stakeholders.
  • Exhibit the ability to navigate change effectively, always prioritising the needs of service users.
  • Recognise the significance of information governance processes and commit to adhering to all necessary safeguards.
  • Pursue continuous learning opportunities to enhance your professional knowledge and skills, while also contributing to the growth and development of your colleagues.
