An exciting opportunity has arisen within Change Grow Live Ealing RISE for an enthusiastic, dedicated and outcome focused Recovery Worker to join our successful team on an ad hoc basis.
RISE is an integrated end-to-end treatment and recovery service which offers a wide range of pharmacological and psychosocial interventions to Ealing residents 18 years and over to their families and significant others who are experiencing issues with drugs and/or alcohol use. RISE is a consortium, with CGL being the lead contractor, and includes Central and North West London NHS Mental Health Trust (CNWL) and two service user led organizations and Build on Belief (BOB).

Hourly Rate: £19.85 per hour
Duties:
The successful candidate will be committed to taking a positive, holistic and empowering approach to service delivery. They will work with service users to initiate recovery from drug and/or alcohol dependence, to enable service users to build their own recovery capital and to support them to move into long term sustained recovery and social (re)integration. You will need to demonstrate a strong recovery focus and have knowledge of a range of psychosocial interventions.
The role will involve undertaking strength-based assessments, collaborative formulation of recovery plans, supporting medically assisted recovery, ITEP mapping, group work, motivational interventions and have a strong eye for detail in both the inputting and collation of data. The successful candidate will deliver 121 sessions, groups, offer harm minimization advice, liaison with community services such as mental health and will be committed to promoting recovery community and service user choice, whilst supporting service users to live healthier lives.
The successful candidate will also be expected to deliver an assertive approach in ensuring the safety and well-being of all children, young people and vulnerable adults.
