Overview

At Change Grow Live, we see possibilities in every person. Guided by our values - Be Open, Be Compassionate, Be Bold - we create environments where people feel safe, supported and empowered to change the direction of their lives.

Our new five-year strategy sets out an ambitious vision for the future: to make it easier for more people to access support earlier, to embed compassion and evidence at the heart of everything we do, and to create services that are rooted in the communities we serve.

To achieve this, we’re investing in innovation, digital transformation and new service models and we’re looking for a Portfolio Management Analyst to help make it happen.

About the role

As a Portfolio Management Analyst, you’ll be at the heart of our programmes and projects, turning complex delivery data into clear insights that drive better decisions.

Working across agile, waterfall and hybrid environments, you’ll bring governance, reporting and planning to life through meaningful dashboards, visuals and roadmaps that help senior leaders see the bigger picture and act with confidence.

This is a role where your eye for detail, analytical mindset and flair for communication will make a real difference, ensuring projects stay on track, dependencies are made visible, risks are managed, and benefits are realised, whilst development of high-level roadmaps identify clear sequencing, milestones and implementation.

You’ll also play a key part in shaping and improving how we work, helping us embed best practice and continuous improvement across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor adherence to agreed programme and project management frameworks (e.g., Agile, APM) and ensure compliance with governance standards.
  • Produce accuratetimely portfolio reports for senior leadership and the Board, tracking key metrics such as milestones, risks, dependencies, benefits, resources, and financials.
  • Maintain integrated plans, registers, and dashboards; support resource demand and capacity tracking across the portfolio.
  • Contribute to assurance reviews, recommend remedial actions, ensure documentation accuracy, and drive improvements in PMO processes, tools, and templates.
  • Develop clear, Board-ready visuals and programme roadmaps, mapping milestones, communications, resource requirements, and dependencies.

Location: Flexible (with national travel as required)

Contract: Permanent, Full-time

Salary: £48,906.23 - £53,329.99 (dependent on experience)

Please note: Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.

Responsibilities

About you

You’re a confident, people-centred leader with a passion for transformation that improves lives. You’ll bring:

  • Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field, foundation-level project/programme management training (e.g., APM PFQ/PMQ), and significant experience in PMO or programme environments supporting transformation and change.
  • Skilled in maintaining PMO controls (integrated plans, RAID, governance, benefits tracking) and knowledgeable in risk, dependency management, and benefits realisation across complex portfolios.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce clear, timely reports, dashboards, and roadmaps using tools like Miro, Canva, Visio, and advanced data analysis with Excel/Power BI.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to distil complex information for senior stakeholders and boards, facilitate workshops, and promote collaboration.
  • Highly analytical, solution-focused, committed to improving PMO processes, and passionate about portfolio analysis and governance to support organisational transformation.
