We are delighted to offer a new opportunity for a Team Leader to join our Lancashire service, based in Burnley. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will work flexibly and creatively to ensure the service responds effectively to local need and delivers the greatest possible impact for individuals, families and communities.
In Lancashire, Change Grow Live works closely with local authorities, health partners, safeguarding teams and community organisations to deliver coordinated, trauma-informed support. Our services support individuals and families where complexity, vulnerability and safeguarding concerns may be present. As a Team Leader in Burnley, you will play a key role in strengthening safe practice, improving outcomes and ensuring teams are equipped, confident and supported to deliver compassionate, evidence-based interventions.
Location: Burnley
Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week
*Salary: £35,220.59 – £37,184.91 per annum
(based on full-time hours, pro rata for part-time)
*Please note: Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.
You will be responsible for:
Operational line management of a team, including supervision (with reflective practice), appraisal, performance management and sickness management.
Ensuring staff work in line with Change Grow Live policies, procedures and relevant external legislation.
Creating a positive, supportive culture that promotes hope, empowerment, choice and opportunity for service users.
Working with your team and the Designated Safeguarding Lead to ensure robust safeguarding practice, including identification and management of risk for service users, children and families.
Ensuring staff are skilled and confident in delivering interventions that reduce risk and improve outcomes.
Supporting staff development through observed practice and timely, values-based feedback.
Leading on the recruitment, selection and induction of new staff.
You will bring:
Degree-level education or equivalent relevant experience.
Knowledge and experience of developing and leading health and social care services that demonstrate high performance and quality.
Significant experience of leading teams working with families where children are subject to social care intervention.
Strong knowledge of legislation relating to children, young people and safeguarding practice.
The ability to lead, inspire and develop teams through compassionate, effective leadership.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with confidence using MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
