Believe in People? So Do We.

At Change Grow Live, the best people have one thing in common.
They care.

Guided by our values — Be Open, Be Compassionate, Be Bold — we create inclusive, psychologically safe environments where people are supported to change the direction of their lives, grow as individuals and achieve their potential.

As part of our 2030 Strategy, we are strengthening psychologically informed, trauma-responsive practice that is built on evidence and compassion and rooted in communities. Practitioner Psychologists play a vital role in shaping this ambition — bringing clinical expertise, reflective leadership and innovation into frontline services.

We are now seeking a HCPC-registered Practitioner Psychologist (Clinical, Counselling or Forensic) to join our multidisciplinary team, delivering high-quality psychological assessment, formulation and recovery-focused interventions.

About the Role

As a Practitioner Psychologist, you will deliver comprehensive psychological input within a multidisciplinary setting, ensuring people receive high-quality, evidence-based care that promotes recovery, empowerment and wellbeing.

Under the supervision of a senior registered Psychologist, you will be part of our national Psychology Team, with access to reflective practice, peer support, research opportunities and continuing professional development.

Key elements of the role include:

  • Delivering psychological assessments, formulations and interventions aligned to best practice and evidence-based guidelines.

  • Supporting psychologically informed, trauma-responsive care across services.

  • Embedding psychological perspectives into team thinking, practice and decision-making.

  • Enhancing staff confidence, skills and professional capability through consultation and reflective support.

  • Contributing to the development of innovative, effective trauma-informed services.

  • Promoting physical, psychological and emotional safety for people accessing services and for staff.

  • Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary colleagues and partner agencies.

Preceptorship and Progression

Following qualification, you will be supported to complete our preceptorship programme over a period of up to two years. Upon successful completion, there is the opportunity to progress within your role, including development into a Highly Qualified / Highly Specialist Practitioner Psychologist position.

This role offers a strong progression pathway for HCPC-registered Practitioner Psychologists, whether following completion of preceptorship or as a next step in an established career.

Responsibilities

About You

You will:

  • Be a HCPC-registered Practitioner Psychologist (Clinical, Counselling or Forensic).

  • Bring strong skills in assessment, formulation and evidence-based intervention.

  • Be committed to trauma-informed, psychologically safe and person-centred practice.

  • Value reflective practice, learning and continuous professional development.

  • Work confidently within multidisciplinary and partnership environments.

  • Be motivated to contribute to service development, innovation and quality improvement.

We welcome applications from Practitioner Psychologists at different stages of their professional journey.
