We now have an exciting opportunity for a Recovery Coordinator to join our West Sussex team. If you are someone who can engage, motivate and walk alongside people in their recovery journey, we’d love to hear from you.
As a Recovery Coordinator, you will play a key part in supporting people from their first contact with our service right through to their ongoing recovery. Your work will be rooted in empathy, curiosity and partnership, ensuring every person receives the right intervention at the right time.
In this role, you will:
Provide consistent, person-centred support throughout the treatment and recovery journey.
Deliver tailored harm reduction and psychosocial interventions, both one-to-one and in groups.
Develop clear, recovery-focused detoxification plans, including thorough pre-detox preparation and post-detox aftercare.
Build strong links with local partners, referring people to mutual aid, community networks and wider support.
Champion the involvement of service users, families and communities in all aspects of recovery.
Advocate for individuals to access partnership services and overcome barriers to engagement.
Support service users in building resilience, reconnecting socially, and developing meaningful, purposeful lives.

Hours: Full time, 37.5 per week
Full Time Salary Range*: £27,861.26 - £32,002.35 (based on full time hours, pro rata for part time)
*Please note: Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.

You will bring:
Experience and understanding of delivering interventions for people affected by substance use.
Strong communication skills and confidence working with digital systems.
A proactive, organised approach, with the ability to prioritise and manage a varied caseload.
Knowledge of mental health interventions, services and best practice.
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across teams, agencies and stakeholder groups.
Flexibility and resilience, with a focus on what is best for the people we support.
An understanding of information governance and a commitment to maintaining high standards of confidentiality and safeguarding.
A desire to learn, grow and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and shared development.
