Overview

Recovery Coordinator – West Sussex

At Change Grow Live, we believe in people — in their strengths, their potential, and their ability to change the direction of their lives. We support people with compassion, respect and dignity, creating safe spaces where they are seen and valued as individuals.

Our values — Be Open, Be Compassionate, Be Bold — guide everything we do. They help us build trusting relationships and deliver care that empowers people to grow and live life to its fullest.

We now have an exciting opportunity for a Recovery Coordinator to join our West Sussex team. If you are someone who can engage, motivate and walk alongside people in their recovery journey, we’d love to hear from you.

About the Role

As a Recovery Coordinator, you will play a key part in supporting people from their first contact with our service right through to their ongoing recovery. Your work will be rooted in empathy, curiosity and partnership, ensuring every person receives the right intervention at the right time.

In this role, you will:

  • Provide consistent, person-centred support throughout the treatment and recovery journey.

  • Deliver tailored harm reduction and psychosocial interventions, both one-to-one and in groups.

  • Develop clear, recovery-focused detoxification plans, including thorough pre-detox preparation and post-detox aftercare.

  • Build strong links with local partners, referring people to mutual aid, community networks and wider support.

  • Champion the involvement of service users, families and communities in all aspects of recovery.

  • Advocate for individuals to access partnership services and overcome barriers to engagement.

  • Support service users in building resilience, reconnecting socially, and developing meaningful, purposeful lives.

Every day you will make a tangible difference — helping people feel supported, heard and hopeful.
