As a Non-Medical Prescriber, you will be a central part of our clinical offer in Kilburn. Working within a multi-disciplinary, multi-agency team, you’ll provide high-quality, recovery-orientated care for people affected by drugs and alcohol.
You will lead on prescribing pathways, guide colleagues through complex cases and be a trusted point of clinical expertise for internal teams and external partners. This is a role where your judgement, compassion and clinical insight will have a direct and lasting impact.

Hours: 37.5 per week
Full Time Salary: £47,792.23 – £53,329.99 pro rata for part time hours
Allowance: £4,133.14 Inner London Weighting, pro rata

Assess, diagnose, plan and evaluate interventions that support meaningful change.
Prescribe and review medications in line with evidence, best practice and clinical governance.
Respond confidently to urgent or complex presentations, seeking senior input when needed.
Lead on BBV vaccination and immunisation pathways, and champion health-promotion strategies that reduce harm and improve wellbeing.
Communicate with clarity and empathy, adapting your approach to meet individual needs and cultural contexts.
Build strong relationships across services and act as an advocate for people in your care.
Produce accurate, timely clinical documentation aligned with professional and organisational standards.
Contribute to continuous improvement through self-reflection, peer learning, and annual appraisal.
You bring clinical expertise, curiosity and a commitment to person-centred care.
You’ll have:
GPhC registration as a Pharmacist with two years’ post-qualification experience OR NMC registration as a first-level nurse with three years’ experience.
A recognised Non-Medical Prescribing qualification.
At least one year of recent experience in substance misuse treatment.
Strong knowledge of harm-reduction and health-promotion approaches.
Confidence in assessment, recovery planning and clinical documentation.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to travel between sites when required.
