We have an exciting opportunity for a Recovery Worker who has the skills and experience to assess and engage with our service users, ensuring that they access the right intervention at the right time, in a way that best meets their needs.

Full Time Hours: 37.5 per week
Full Time Salary Range: £27,861.26 - £32,002.35 per annum dependant on experience (based on full time working hours, paid pro rata for part time)
Contract Type: Fixed Term until 30-Mar-2026

With this role you’ll be working as part of the Family Intervention Recovery Support Team (FIRST).
The FIRST Recovery Worker will work in close partnership with Social Care's Targeted Support team, offering early-intervention support to parents and carers where low-level, stable drug and/or alcohol use is beginning to impact family functioning or has the potential to escalate if not addressed. The role focuses on preventing the need for statutory involvement by providing short-term, solution-focused support to strengthen family stability, reduce risk, and improve outcomes.
FIRST workers work collaboratively with families to build motivation for change, improve coping strategies, and enhance protective factors, enabling them to maintain progress within their community. Support may be delivered across local operational sites, including community venues, partner offices, and family homes where appropriate.
