Overview

Believe in People?

The best people have one thing in common.

They care.

At Change Grow Live, our values — be open, be compassionate, be bold — shape everything we do. Every day, our teams create the conditions for success, supporting people to transform their lives and realise their potential.

We Thrive by recruiting for success, recognising and rewarding effort. We are safe, healthy, agile and flexible in how we work.

About the Role

Are you passionate about creating positive change for people who are rough sleeping or spending time on the streets?
So are we.

We believe everyone deserves the opportunity to feel safe, supported and part of their community. Our outreach teams meet people where they are — building trust, listening without judgement, and connecting them with the right support to move forward.

As a Team Leader, you’ll play a pivotal role in leading and inspiring a skilled, multidisciplinary team to deliver person-centred outreach and engagement across the area. You’ll guide and motivate your team to provide responsive, compassionate support to individuals who are rough sleeping or vulnerably housed, helping them to access healthcare, treatment, accommodation and pathways to stability.

Together as a team, we are learning, developing, growing and identifying future talent and leaders to deliver our mission.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and manage a high-performing team delivering outreach and engagement services that reduce rough sleeping and promote inclusion.

  • Provide line management, supervision and day-to-day support to ensure a safe, healthy, and high-quality service.

  • Work collaboratively with partners — including local authorities, health and housing providers, and community organisations — to create holistic, joined-up solutions.

  • Promote a culture of belonging where every voice counts, enabling open communication and shared learning.

  • Oversee performance management, data quality and reporting to ensure contractual and organisational standards are met.

  • Support the Designated Safeguarding Lead to manage risks and uphold the safety and wellbeing of everyone we support.

  • Empower your team to deliver meaningful, strengths-based interventions that inspire hope and build confidence.

About You

You’ll bring:

  • Experience of working with people who are rough sleeping or vulnerably housed, and an understanding of the challenges they face.

  • Proven leadership and people-management experience within outreach, housing, health, or substance-use services.

  • Strong partnership-working and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple agencies.

  • Knowledge of safeguarding, health and safety, and performance management frameworks.

  • A calm, empathetic and non-judgemental approach, with resilience and flexibility to adapt in fast-paced environments.

Everyone at Change Grow Live experiences a sense of belonging — we are inclusive, we engage and connect at all levels, and we create the conditions for success for people who work and volunteer with us.
