Do you want to work for a caring organisation that believes in people?
Do you want to make a difference?
As a Recovery Worker with Change Grow Live you’ll work with people who use our services, helping them get to where they want to be.
You will join a new team which has been created to extend our successful Family Safeguarding model into our Children Looked After Service. This model is a framework which has been highlighted as a beacon of best practice in the Government’s recent National Review into the tragic murders of Arthur Labinjo-Hughes and Star Hobson.
The review concluded that: “Practice frameworks such as Family Safeguarding Hertfordshire have shown us the great value of bringing highly skilled, multi-agency professionals together into a single team with a shared vision and purpose.”
The Family Safeguarding model centres around a multi-disciplinary team who are trained in Motivational Interviewing, a counselling approach that creates confidence in parents to change their behaviours that cause harm to their children.
This extension of the Family Safeguarding model to children in care sets out to empower families, and their extended networks to help children achieve the best outcomes by having parental mental health, substance misuse and domestic abuse specialists all working in one team, alongside children’s social workers and life coaches.
