Our Team Leaders here at Change Grow Live play an integral role in ensuring an effective service provision for our service users by creating a focussed culture, engaging staff to provide an innovative and continually improving service and provide leadership, support, and development to a wide range of staff.
We are seeking a motivated individual to lead the implementation and coordination of initiatives that promote awareness and understanding of drug and alcohol issues. The role involves delivering education, training, and promotional activities to upskill colleagues, professionals, service users, carers, young people, and community groups. The post holder will play a key part in supporting best practice for alcohol misuse interventions and increasing awareness of the wider harms caused by substance misuse.

Full Time Hours: 37.5 per week
Full Time Salary Range: £35,220.59 - £37,184.90 (based on full time hours, pro rata for part time)
*Please note: Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.
Develop and maintain productive working relationships.
Deliver training and raise drug and alcohol awareness across Knowsley, supporting professionals to provide information, brief advice, and appropriate referrals.
Manage risk and health & safety requirements for all training events.
Work towards agreed outcomes and targets in line with the commissioner’s service level agreement, ensuring high standards of service delivery.
Liaise with partner organisations across statutory, voluntary, and private sectors when running training and awareness sessions.
Identify opportunities for service development in collaboration with the Service Manager.
Provide operational line management for staff, including supervision, appraisal, performance management, and sickness management, while ensuring compliance with CGL and external policies.
Promote and embed CGL’s values through decision-making, leadership, and fostering a values-based culture.
