An exciting opportunity has arisen within Be Smoke Free Manchester for an enthusiastic, dedicated communications and marketing coordinator to join our successful team. Be Smoke Free is a specialist nurse-led tobacco addiction service run by Change Grow Live in partnership with Manchester Integrated Care Partnership and Manchester City Council. Our aim is to raise awareness of the negative effects of smoking and to promote wellbeing in workplaces and other organisations across the city. 

 

The role is vital to the promotion of our tobacco addiction service by providing clear, concise external communications on numerous different platforms alongside ensuring internal events, communications, leaflets and information are current and informative. 

 

The role will be hybrid, split between home working and at our sites across Manchester.

 

This is a chance to make a real difference to some of the communities and vulnerable people that we work with.

 

Where: Manchester 

Hours: 22.5 per week (part time, 0.6 FTE)

Salary: £27,861.26 to £29,529.80 (based on full time working hours, pro rata for part time)

 

Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.

Responsibilities

About the role:

  • To write creative and engaging content for a wide range of purposes.
  • To raise the service profile, using a targeted approach.
  • To support in the administration and development of online resources available for people who access our services.
  • Collate service user, stakeholder and staff feedback and share with the organisation, partners/wider public to demonstrate impact.
  • To develop and post regular content on social media platforms researching content ideas as required.

What You’ll Bring to the Team:

  • Technological knowledge, including working knowledge of different social media channels.
  • A creative approach to finding new and innovative digital solutions.
  • Experience of using online applications and tools.
  • Highly organised.
