Where: Gateshead

Hours: Full Time 37.5 per week

Full Time Salary Range: £27,861.26 - £32,002.35 (pro rata for part time hours)

Contract Type: Fixed term until 31st of October 2027

 

Please note: Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.

Responsibilities

About the Role:

Engage with young adults in a deeply meaningful manner, guiding them to access continuous support. Create personalised support plans, taking a holistic approach to address substance use.

Collaborate extensively with both internal and external partners, ensuring comprehensive and inclusive care. Place utmost priority on safeguarding, conducting thorough risk assessments and management plans.

Being responsive to the needs of young adults, ensuring interventions are accessible (e.g. facilitating home visits, working with colleges, universities, etc).

 

About You:

 

Utilise your expertise in working with young individuals to create a meaningful difference.

Demonstrate a deep understanding of the present-day challenges encountered by this specific demographic.

Show empathy and understanding towards issues revolving around drug and alcohol use.

Excel in cultivating robust and supportive professional connections.

Leverage your experience in fostering strong collaborations with both internal and external partners.

Your knowledge and hands-on experience in working with young individuals who engage in substance use will be invaluable. Additionally, your proficiency in delivering training across diverse audiences and settings will significantly contribute to the role.
