Responsibilities

You will work to promote trauma informed practice within the team and wider service through consultation, case management, training, reflective practice, and research. Under the supervision of a Senior Psychologist, you will offer a range of evidence-based psychological and psychosocial interventions relevant to address the degree of complexity experienced within this population of people.

Our model emphasises physical, psychological, and emotional safety and helps people to rebuild a sense of control and empowerment in their lives and in their communities. You will provide low level brief psychological interventions, primarily in groups, but also on an individual basis; input into service development initiatives; and assist our psychologists, who will provide regular supervision.

Our national Psychology Team provides connection, peer support, reflective practice, and CPD. Our Assistant Psychologists meet regularly, and we offer support in applying for further training. We embrace diversity, equality and inclusion as evidenced by our commitment to building a team with a variety of backgrounds, skills, and views. We strive to nurture a culture where inclusiveness is a way of being, not an initiative. If you’re a team player who shares our organisational values of being bold, compassionate, and open, this could be the role for you.

Our values are to be compassionate, open, and bold.
