We’re delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a Qualified Non-Medical Prescriber (NMP) to join our dedicated and compassionate team in Croydon.
This role includes working with rough sleepers who are accessing treatment, providing flexible, person-centred clinical support to meet their individual needs. We’re looking for someone who can adapt to future service developments, which may include delivering in-reach clinics within the community to improve access for those in need of treatment and support.
For the right candidate, we are happy to offer a starting salary towards the mid to upper end of the scale, with an anticipated starting salary of £51,101.96 *, up to a maximum of £53,329.99*, dependent on skills and experience.

Working under the guidance of the Service’s Medical Lead, Assistant Medical Director, and the , you’ll be part of a multi-disciplinary team delivering clinical, recovery-focused alcohol and drug intervention services.
Your responsibilities will include:
Assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating treatment and care interventions.
Clinically assessing service user needs and developing tailored care plans.
Identifying and assessing suitability for in-patient alcohol and opioid detoxification where appropriate.
Proactively reviewing and managing clinical treatment plans.
Initiating and adjusting prescriptions for opiate and/or alcohol substitute treatments and other related medications.
Taking a lead role in developing the prescribing clinic and acting as a point of contact for colleagues and partner agencies on prescribing matters.
We’re looking for someone who shares our values and brings passion and expertise to the role:
A Qualified Pharmacist with current GPhC registration and two years' post-qualification experience OR a first-level registered nurse with a current PIN and three years' post-qualification experience.
A qualified Non-Medical Prescriber.
At least one year’s recent experience in substance misuse treatment.
Strong knowledge of clinical prescribing issues, with a person-centred, compassionate approach to care.
