We have an exciting opportunity for an Early Intervention Coordinator who has the skills and experience to assess and engage with our service users, ensuring that they access the right intervention at the right time, in a way that best meets their needs.  

 

You will ensure the promotion of the service’s early intervention, prevention and targeted offer is far-reaching amongst partners and other key stakeholders and that effective referral pathways are developed and maintained to ensure ease of accessibility into treatment.

 

Where: Gateshead

Hours: 37.5 per week (full time)

Salary: £27,861.26 - £32,002.35 dependent on experience (based on full time working hours, pro rata if part time)

 

Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.

Responsibilities

About the role: 

 

  • Lead on the coordination and delivery of the service’s universal, early intervention, prevention & education offers
  • To increase visibility and accessibility of the service amongst children, young people, families, and partners with the aim of increasing referrals into service for specialist support
  • To develop and maintain excellent working relationships with appropriate local partners to ensure quality delivery
  • To devise and implement innovative methods to maximise engagement particularly amongst hard to reach or marginalised individuals/communities
  • To develop and deliver group work and training programmes aimed at creating awareness of the service alongside delivering early intervention key messages
  • Ensure effective and consistent service user involvement including co-production

 

About you: 

 

  • Experience of working with young people in 121 and/or group settings
  • Knowledge of issues facing young people today
  • Be an excellent communicator, both verbal and written with good IT skills 
  • Proactive and able to work on own initiative with excellent time management and prioritising skills 
  • Ability to forge strong working relationships with internal and external partners
  • Experience of delivering training to different audiences in a variety of settings
  • Experience of delivering on projects including working toward deadlines
