We are looking to recruit an exceptional individual to join our dedicated Criminal Justice Team that works throughout Nottinghamshire. The role includes co-ordinating Out of Court Resolution referrals from Nottinghamshire Police, one-to-one key work, delivering group work programmes, case management and working closely with our partner agencies, particularly Nottinghamshire Police and prisons, probation and courts. Ensuring people accessing CGL services via the criminal justice system can improve and change their lives and reduce reoffending.

 

Where: Nottinghamshire - county wide. 

Hours: Full-Time, 37.5 hours per week 

Salary: £27,861.26 - £32,002.35 dependent on experience (Based on full time hours, paid Pro Rata) 

Contract: 12 month fixed term contract commencing from start date.

Change Grow Live Nottinghamshire provides recovery support for individuals who use our services. Our goal is to empower individuals, providing holistic support and treatment tailored to their needs. We offer both one-to-one and group sessions, along with medical treatments.

About the role:

As a Criminal Justice Recovery Coordinator, you will play a crucial role at the forefront of our services in Nottinghamshire. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting service users from point of entry into the service and through their treatment/recovery journey
  • Providing screening, assessment, and recovery planning and onward referral
  • Working with service users to support social (re)integration, enabling them to lead meaningful and purposeful lives: promoting recovery, resilience, peer support and self-determination
  • Supporting specific group work programmes or workshops designed to meet the unique needs of our service users.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in line with service policies and data reporting requirements.
  • Provide progress and outcome reports to Nottinghamshire Police
  • Close liaison and multi-agency working with other professionals and partnership agencies including Police, Probation and the courts
  • Promoting carer, service user and community involvement

 

About you:  

  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of drug and alcohol issues and experience of working within the criminal justice or related field
  • To have knowledge of application of behaviour change strategies and the cycle of change
  • Be an excellent communicator, both verbal and written with good IT skills 
  • Proactive and able to work on own initiative with excellent time management and prioritising skills 
  • Be a supportive team player with strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work in partnership with a wide range of professionals, agencies, and internal/external stakeholders 
  • Ability to manage change successfully in a way that prioritises the needs of service users 
  • Understand the importance of information governance processes and commit to follow and apply all necessary safeguards 
  • Seek out learning opportunities to improve and broaden your professional knowledge and skills and to contribute and oversee the learning and development of others

The successful candidate will need to complete an enhanced DBS check and be willing to undergo Police and MOJ vetting. 

 

Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.
