We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Practitioner / Coordinator to support the development of the Alcohol Team in Liverpool.
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Worker to join our Alcohol Team, specialising in supporting individuals with complex needs. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to make a tangible difference by delivering high-quality, recovery-focused interventions to service users facing multiple challenges, including co-existing mental and physical health issues. You will act as a practice lead within a dynamic multi-disciplinary environment, helping shape and deliver personalised recovery pathways. The role demands a proactive, empathetic professional who excels in both one-to-one care and broader service development, including community engagement, harm reduction, and clinical screening interventions.
The ideal candidate will bring significant experience working with individuals who traditionally face barriers in accessing services, such as those from marginalised groups, rough sleepers, sex workers, and people with enduring mental health needs. This role includes a strong outreach component, requiring flexibility, cultural awareness, and a robust understanding of risk management and safeguarding. You will also play a key part in supervising peer mentors and volunteers, supporting a recovery community ethos, and fostering multi-agency collaboration to ensure continuity of care. Full Time Salary Range: £32,002.35 to £34,214.21 depedent on experience (based on full time hours, pro rata for part time)
Full time Hours: 37.5 per week
*Please note: full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.
