As the Apprenticeships and Accredited Learning Manager, you will develop and implement a forward-thinking strategy that maximises the impact of our apprenticeship levy and accredited learning initiatives. Leading a passionate team, you will ensure high-quality, inclusive learning experiences are embedded into our organisational development plans, supporting career pathways from entry-level through to leadership.

Your expertise will shape the future of workforce development at CGL — from forging strategic partnerships with accredited providers, to enhancing the quality and reach of our learning programmes. You will be a champion for innovation and inclusion, ensuring that learning is accessible and meaningful for all colleagues, volunteers, and partners.

 

*Full Time Salary Range: £44,471.72 - £48,906.23 (dependent on experience) pro rata.
Location: Flexible across the UK with hybrid working and regular meetings in London and other sites
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

 

*Please note: Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Apprenticeship and Accredited Learning Strategy aligned with CGL’s strategic goals.
  • Manage and inspire a dedicated team, fostering a collaborative and inclusive culture.
  • Oversee the effective use of the apprenticeship levy through robust provider management and quality assurance.
  • Drive accreditation processes for in-house training programmes to enhance quality and recognition.
  • Build and maintain strategic partnerships with learning providers, education institutions, and industry experts.
  • Promote apprenticeship and accredited learning opportunities across CGL, supporting recruitment, induction, and retention.
  • Develop innovative, inclusive career pathways tailored for diverse learner needs including school leavers and graduates.
  • Champion continuous professional development and lifelong learning across the organisation.
  • Monitor and evaluate learning outcomes, ensuring continuous enhancement of programmes.

 

Who You Are

  • A strategic and inspirational leader with extensive experience in apprenticeships and accredited learning, ideally within health, social care, or charitable sectors.
  • Knowledgeable about apprenticeship funding, compliance, and quality assurance processes.
  • Skilled at managing teams and building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external providers.
  • Passionate about inclusion, equity, and creating learning experiences that reflect diverse needs.
  • Adept at using data and evidence to shape decision-making and demonstrate impact.
  • Committed to fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Holder of relevant qualifications or professional accreditations (e.g., CIPD) is desirable.
