Head of Learning Delivery and Curriculum Development

Are you a strategic and innovative leader passionate about shaping workforce development and driving organisational learning? As Head of Learning Delivery and Curriculum Development, you will lead the design and implementation of a dynamic, inclusive learning and development framework that empowers all levels of the organisation. You will spearhead the creation of blended learning curriculum's aligned with recognised capability frameworks, integrating face-to-face, virtual, digital, and experiential learning to meet the diverse needs of our workforce.

 

This pivotal role involves leading apprenticeship and accredited learning initiatives, managing partnerships with external providers, and overseeing the development of a cutting-edge digital learning strategy. You will champion a culture of continuous improvement, embedding innovative learning methodologies and ensuring that every individual within CGL has access to meaningful, accessible, and inspiring professional development opportunities.

 

*Full Time Salary Range: £55,547 - £62,522 (dependent on experience) pro rata.
Location: Flexible across the UK with hybrid working and regular meetings in London and other sites
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

*Please note: Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours. 

 

Responsibilities

 

What You’ll Do:

 

  • Develop and implement a long-term strategic workforce learning and development framework aligned with organisational goals and emerging human factors.
  • Lead the design and delivery of role-based, blended learning curriculum's that reflect diversity, inclusion, and evolving workforce needs.
  • Manage apprenticeship and accredited learning programmes, maximising the apprenticeship levy through strong governance and provider collaboration.
  • Drive the establishment and growth of the CGL Campus — a vibrant, shared learning environment fostering skills development and knowledge sharing.
  • Provide strategic oversight of digital learning, collaborating with the Digital Learning, Technology and Systems Manager to integrate innovative technologies including AI and VR.
  • Oversee quality assurance, compliance monitoring, and continuous evaluation of all learning and development activities.
  • Foster partnerships with academic institutions and industry leaders to enhance training offerings and keep pace with sector innovation.
  • Lead cultural and behavioural change initiatives through targeted learning programmes to improve organisational performance and service delivery.

 

What We’re Looking For:

 

  • Extensive leadership experience in Learning & Development or Organisational Development, ideally within health, social care, or charity sectors.
  • Proven ability to design and implement strategic learning frameworks and blended curricula aligned with recognised standards (e.g., OHID).
  • Expertise in apprenticeship programme management and collaborative relationship-building with training providers.
  • Strong knowledge of digital learning technologies and experience leading digital transformation initiatives.
  • Excellent project management, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills.
  • A commitment to fostering diversity, inclusion, and accessibility within all learning programmes.
  • Relevant qualifications such as a degree in Learning & Development, Organisational Psychology, or professional accreditation (e.g., CIPD) are desirable.
