Hours: Full time, 37.5 hrs per week
Full time Salary: £37,184.91 - £44,471.72 dependent on experience
*Please note: Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, the salary, allowances and holidays will be pro rata based on contracted hours.
Leading ethical, person-centred, and evidence-informed social work practice across our Liverpool services.
Supporting and guiding a multi-disciplinary team in responding to complex cases involving substance use, safeguarding, and mental health.
Providing coaching, mentoring, reflective supervision, and bespoke training to enhance team confidence and capability.
Acting as Designated Safeguarding Lead, offering professional accountability and expert decision-making.
Driving collaboration with local authorities, NHS partners, and community organisations to improve referral pathways and support.
Contributing to the development of new social work talent by supporting students and newly qualified professionals on placement.
A qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England (or relevant regulatory body).
Strong experience working within adult and/or children’s social care systems.
In-depth knowledge of safeguarding legislation and practice.
The ability to manage complexity, balance risk, and bring a trauma-informed approach to decision-making.
A collaborative, flexible, and approachable leader who thrives on building others up.
Experience of lone working, managing a busy caseload, and adapting to the needs of people in a challenging environment.
This role is based across our Liverpool sites – and we’re proud of the vibrant, inclusive, and resilient community we support. Flexibility is key: you’ll be expected to work across different locations and at times that best meet the needs of the people we support, which may include evenings and occasional weekends.
