Responsibilities

About the Role:

As a Volunteering & Peer Mentor Coordinator, you will play a key role in shaping and leading our local volunteering and peer mentoring offer. This is a dynamic and rewarding role where you will:

  • Support and promote meaningful service user involvement, ensuring lived experience shapes everything we do.
  • Create opportunities for learning, growth and leadership through structured training and supervision.
  • Build partnerships with local organisations to attract volunteers and expand our networks.
  • Coordinate events, forums, and service user bulletins, ensuring voices are heard, valued, and acted upon.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Experienced in recruiting, training and supporting volunteers.
  • A strong communicator with excellent organisational skills.
  • Empathetic, inclusive, and committed to working in a values-led way.
  • Confident delivering learning and training to others.
  • Able to build positive relationships with colleagues, volunteers, and service users alike.
  • Passionate about promoting the voice of lived experience and creating opportunities for people to thrive.

What We Offer

At Change Grow Live, we believe in creating the right environment for everyone to succeed. That means:

  • 25 days holiday (+ bank holidays), rising with service.
  • A paid weekly “Wellness” hour, plus access to a wellbeing hub and Employee Assistance Programme.
  • A contributory pension scheme.
  • Discounts on shopping, cinema, holidays and more.
  • A friendly, supportive team culture where everyone belongs.
  • Ongoing training, development and progression opportunities.
