Lead the Clean Slate Project – Hub Coordinator

 

We're looking for a compassionate and driven individual to lead the development and day-to-day running of Clean Slate — a newly funded, welcoming, user-led recovery hub rooted in lived experience.

Clean Slate is a brand-new Lived Experience Recovery Organisation (LERO) supporting individuals on their recovery journey across Bromley, with strong backing from Bromley CGL.

 

As the Hub Coordinator, you will:

  • Launch and grow the hub from two to four days a week within the first year.

  • Support and coordinate a dedicated team of volunteers to co-design meaningful activities.

  • Build strong partnerships with peer-led and mutual aid organisations across the community.

Where: Camden

Part Time Hours: 22.5 per week

Full Time Salary: £27,861.26 - £32,002.35 per year dependant on experience (based on full time working hours, pro rata for part time hours)

Contract Type: 12 month fixed term contract

Allowance:Inner London Weighting of £2,195.72 (based on full time working hours, pro rata for part time hours)

 

 

**please note: Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.

Responsibilities

About the Role:

You’ll manage operations, develop a weekly activity schedule, support volunteers, and ensure the hub remains a safe, inclusive, and inspiring space. You’ll also build partnerships across local mutual aid and recovery organisations, helping to expand access and grow a thriving recovery community.

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating volunteer teams and rotas

  • Managing supplies, food hygiene and daily operations

  • Developing partnerships and promoting the hub

  • Collecting feedback and supporting continuous improvement

  • Supporting fundraising and potential long-term sustainability

 

About You:

You’ll be someone with lived experience of substance misuse recovery, who is now abstinent and passionate about supporting others. You're known and respected in the local recovery community, and you bring empathy, initiative, and strong organisational skills.

You’ll also have:

  • First-hand understanding of recovery challenges

  • Confidence working independently and with partners

  • Willingness to maintain professional boundaries and safeguarding standards

  • Ability to manage admin tasks and contribute to project reports

Bonus if you live in Bromley or hold a food hygiene qualification – but not essential.
