Medical Implementation Lead

This pivotal change brings an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to lead the implementation of medical services in Change Grow Live Liverpool. 

As we prepare for this exciting transition, you’ll play a crucial role in in shaping service delivery, improving pathways, and supporting multidisciplinary teams to achieve best practice standards in substance misuse treatment.

Where: Liverpool

Full Time Hours: 37.5 per week

Salary: £138,714.28 - £149,713.64 dependent on experience (based on full time working hours, pro rata for part time)

Role: Fixed Term until March 31st 2027

Key aspects of the role:

• Lead the implementation of medical and prescribing services, ensuring high standards of care and efficiency.
• Work closely with senior management, clinical teams, and external partners to implement service improvements.
• Develop and implement new models of care, ensuring alignment with national guidelines and best practice standards.
• Represent CGL at regional and national forums to contribute to the wider development of medical services in substance misuse treatment

What We’re Looking For: 

• Medical degree and have completed basic medical training.
• Full GMC registration with a license to practice.
• Knowledge of national policies, clinical guidelines, and best practice in addiction medicine.
• Experience leading service implementation, transformation or clinical improvement projects.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience of working with clients with complex physical and / or mental health needs including co-morbidity.
