Who we are:
Positive Choices is Change Grow Live’s confidential service in Coventry supporting young people between the ages of 5 and 24. We offer advice and guidance to young people who are affected by a loved one’s drug or alcohol misuse or if they are using drugs or alcohol themselves and want support to make changes. We also support young people around unhealthy partner relationships, sexual health and keeping safe online and in the community. We are an Award-Winning Service with a great reputation across the city looking to expand our team with people that want to make a real difference.

‘My job is really varied, I can be in schools talking about consent and healthy relationships, out in the community running group sessions about drugs and alcohol or supporting young people with getting involved in activities like boxing or running club. I get to spend every day working with young people and seeing the difference you can make to a young person's life makes my job feel so rewarding. I love how supportive our team is and the passion and care we all have for our young people and their families. We are always open to trying new ways of working if it is beneficial for the young people we are supporting and that is a great thing to be a part of.’
The role is very rewarding though it can be emotionally taxing. The team are very supportive and are always available for de-brief. If shortlisted, your interview will take place the agreed date. The interview process will likely last around 2-3 hours and will involve a Competency based interview, Values based interview and a written task.
Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.
