We have an exciting opportunity for an Young Adult Recovery Coordinator to join our Norwich Team who has the skills and experience to assess and engage with our service users, ensuring that they access the right intervention at the right time, in a way that best meets their needs.
We are looking for someone kind, approachable and understanding for this role with a great knowledge on difficulties that young adults face. Working as the Young Adult Recovery Coordinator you will be supporting a caseload of 18-25 years olds to empower them to reach their goals around changing behaviour towards drugs and alcohol. As part of this role you will also be expected to facilitate regular drop in’s to offer harm minimisation advise and to promote the service at the local university. Outreach is a large part of this role to so having a full UK driving licence is desirable as you will be expected to complete home visits and be flexible in meeting with our services users in mutual spaces where they may feel more comfortable. Knowledge around substances and the impact these have on young people is crucial for this role as you will also be the go to for other agencies that support young people with any drug and alcohol related questions. Our Norwich service thrives as a dynamic and collaborative team, featuring dedicated staff including a service manager, medical professionals, caring nurses, empathetic recovery staff, dedicated volunteers, efficient administrators, and supportive peer mentors.
Location: Norwich, Norfolk
Full Time Hours: 37.5 per week
Full time Salary Range: £27,449.53 - £31,529.41 Dependent on experience, pro rata for part time hours
Contract Type: Fixed Term unitl 31st March 2026 (Maternity Cover)
