Are you looking for a new exciting role where you can genuinely make a difference?
Yes?
Then this role is for you!
CGL Newham Rise supports Newham residents aged 11+ who are either struggling with their own, or a loved one’s drug and/or alcohol use. By providing a variety of interventions, we support close to 2000 people a year in treatment, empowering them to achieve their recovery goals and live healthier, happier lives.
The role of Outreach and Engagement Team Leader is an exciting one and no day is the same. Leading a team of workers who each specialise in a different pathway, your team has a couple of different aims; facilitating increased access to treatment by being based in community satellites across the borough, e.g. hospital, mental health services and homelessness services and providing a quality service to the people they support.
You will work closely with the wider multidisciplinary team and have operational oversight of a number of different professional relationships within the borough. CGL Newham Rise is an established service but there are always opportunities to innovate and nurture new connections to ensure we are accessing as many people who need us in the borough as possible.
On a day-to-day basis, you will be based across our 3 treatment hubs providing 1-1 support and advice to your team, and the wider CGL Newham team. You will support your team with professional development and contribute towards the service’s overall objectives.
