We are thrilled to present an exciting opportunity for a  GP Shared Care Worker to join our dynamic team in Southwark.

 

Our Southwark service is a vibrant, collaborative team, comprising a dedicated lineup that includes a service manager, consultant psychiatrists, medical professionals, compassionate nurses, attentive healthcare assistants, empathetic recovery staff, passionate volunteers, efficient administrators, and supportive peer mentors.

Where: Southwark

Allowances:  £4072.06 Inner London Weighting, pro rata

Full Time Hours: 37.5hrs per week

Full Time Salary: £27,449.53 - £31,529.41 dependent on experience, pro rata if part time

Contract Type: Fixed Term until 31st March 2025

Responsibilities

We aim to empower every individual through holistic support and personalised treatment to meet their unique needs. From one-on-one sessions to medical treatments, our goal is holistic care that encourages growth and recovery.

 

The Role:

Join our team in Southwark and play a pivotal role in:

  • Supporting service users throughout their treatment journey.
  • Conducting assessments and developing personalised recovery plans.
  • Advocating for access to partnership services.
  • Collaborating with individuals to facilitate social integration and recovery.

About You:

To excel in this role, you'll need:

  • experience of managing an opiate caseload with prescribing clinic experience.

  • A solid understanding of substance misuse issues.
  • Excellent communication and IT skills.
  • Proactive and independent work ethic.
  • Knowledge of mental health interventions and services.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for collaborative work.
