Make a Difference Every Day – Join Us as a Resilience Worker

 

At Change Grow Live, we believe in the power of compassion to change lives. We’re seeking a dedicated Resilience Worker to join our team, working with people aged16-25 in supported accommodation who are facing challenges related to substance use.

 

This is a unique and exciting opportunity to be part of a new and innovative approach to meeting the needs of those aged 16-25 living in Nottinghamshire County Council’s supported accommodation provision. You’ll be working in close partnership with colleagues from Nottinghamshire Healthcare Trust, Nottinghamshire County Council and the supported accommodation providers as part of a new Multi-Disciplinary Team. No two days are the same in this role, and flexibility, curiosity, and active listening are essential qualities.

 

 

Where: County Wide, Nottinghamshire 

Hours:  Full Time, 37.5 hours per week

Full Tine Salary:  £27,449.52 - £31,529.41 Pro Rata (Dependent on experience)

Responsibilities

About The Role:

 

  • Engage those aged 16-25 who have substance use needs: Provide them with appropriate information, advice, and range of interventions to support their health and wellbeing needs. This may include facilitating access to and supporting clinical interventions.
  • Complete comprehensive screening and assessments: Work holistically to develop individual care plans that incorporate integrated care and transition support that will enable progression in addressing the persons substance use and related outcomes.
  • Commitment to Safeguarding: Demonstrate commitment to information governance processes and safeguarding principles as well as  working in partnership to promote welfare and increase safety.
  • To advocate and empower others: This involves access and engagement with partnership and community services, including participating in all relevant multi-agency meetings.
  • Focus on wellbeing: Enabling people to lead safer, healthier, and more purposeful lives: reducing risk and increasing resilience.

 

About You:

  • Experience of working with the targeted age group or in similar settings: Applicants who have experience in similar fields such as health, housing, criminal justice or care services are strongly encouraged. Your ability to demonstrate relevant transferable skills will be required.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding practise: In relation to those aged 16-25
  • Some understanding of drug and alcohol Issues.
  • Knowledge of working with evidence-based practice.
  • Awareness of values led approaches to support
  • Have excellent team working and interpersonal skills: This involves maintaining a highly cooperative approach to supporting colleagues in delivering service objectives.
