A fantastic, new opportunity has arisen to become a Project Managerleading the delivery and service development of MDOT rough sleepers project alongside the local substance misuse service. We are hoping this role is for you.  

 

 

Location: Reading 

Hours: Full Time, 37.5 hours per week

Full Time Salary: £39,302.37 - £43,814.50 Dependent on experience, Pro Rata if part time.

Contract Type: 6 month secondment.

Responsibilities

About the role:

 

  • Lead on the development of the service to provide easily accessible, non judgemental, and confidential services, which support service users in working to towards their goals 
  • Lead on the development of a broad range of activities, interventions and offers to meet the needs of the people who use our services and commissioner requirements
  • Manage and coordinate the activities of programmes, including overall management of the staff team, sessional workers, and volunteers, so that the service runs efficiently and effectively, making the best possible use of financial and human resources
  • Provide line management, supervision, and leadership to achieve performance outcomes in line with service level and contractual arrangements
  • Ensure that constructive, positive, and supportive relationships are maintained with relevant partners, user representatives’ groups, advisory groups, and committees
  • Ensure the Service runs within allocated budgets
  • Ensure effective performance management through data collection, reporting and analysis

 

 

About you: 

 

  • A thorough understanding of the challenges faced by those who use substances; those who are (were) known to criminal justice services; those who have complex or multiple support needs
  • Experience in reviewing, mobilising, and developing services and new initiatives.
  • An ability to identify areas of development and implement change to improve performance.
  • Experience in building cross partnership relationships to ensure the development of effective wrap around support/treatment/care; including knowledge/experience of governance arrangements that need consideration.
  • Experience in effective performance management
  • The ability to maintain professional boundaries and work effectively with colleagues and partnership
  • Experience of project management
  • Experience of change management
  • The ability to communicate confidently and effectively, in a variety of ways.
