Due to our continued commitment in supporting people suffering with substance misuse problems, Change Grow Live are looking for a Communications Lead to join our vibrant Camden Service.

 

Reporting to the Service Manager and working closely with our National Marketing and Communications Team, you will support communication activity for Change Grow Live across the service, communicating updates and sharing good practice with those accessing our service, staff, and stakeholders through a variety of methods.

 

You will be joining our Camden service, every day is a new experience, and we treat each person as a unique individual. We are a diverse and collaborative team, comprising a dedicated ensemble that includes a service manager, consultant psychiatrists, medical professionals, compassionate nurses, attentive healthcare assistants, empathetic recovery staff, passionate volunteers, efficient administrators, and supportive peer mentors.   

 

Full Time Hours: 37.5 per week

Full Time Salary: £31,529.41 to £34,700.09 Based on full time hours, pro rata for part time (depending on experience)

Allowances: £4072.06 Inner London Weighting pro rata

 

Responsibilities

About the Role:

  • Collaborative Communication: Work closely with colleagues, commissioners, and partner agencies in Camden to provide updates and share best practices.
  • Reporting: Produce reports for the Senior Management Team on communications and events, ensuring clear and concise information.
  • Strategic Development: Assist in the creation and implementation of a communications strategy that aligns with the objectives of Change Grow Live for Camden.
  • Brand Management: Contribute to maintaining the Change Grow Live brand within Camden, including newsletters and events for stakeholders, service users, and staff.
  • Campaign Leadership: Drive campaigns focused on recruitment and volunteering within our services.
  • Service Updates: Support the senior leadership team in delivering important service updates through various communication channels.
  • National Campaigns: Assist in the rollout of national service campaigns.
  • Event Engagement: Participate in and support events to raise the profile of our services and educate partners about drug and alcohol recovery services.

About You:

  • Tech-Savvy: Proficient in using MS Office applications (Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
  • Excellent Communicator: Demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with all clients.
  • Analytical and Detail-Oriented: Effective analytical skills and the ability to write comprehensive reports.
  • Values-Driven: Have a deep understanding of Change Grow Live’s values, culture, and ethos.
  • Time Management: Proven ability to manage time effectively while working to various deadlines.
  • Communications Knowledge: Strong understanding of communications principles.
  • Creative and High-Quality: Ability to create high-quality publications for a diverse range of audiences.
