We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Safeguarding Recovery Coordinator who has the skills and experience to assess and engage with our service users with complex needs. You will ensure that they access the right intervention at the right time, in a way that best meets their needs.  

 

The post holder will be an integral part of our Social Work team, Supporting Service Users through the Rehab Pathway. 

 

Where: Hatfield

Hours: 30 hours per week

Salary: £31,529.41- £33,708.57 Pro Rata

 

This is a FTC until March 2025. 

Responsibilities

About the role: 

 

  • Engage with people who have substance misuse problems with complex physical and / or mental health needs, including co-morbidity
  • Support the social work team throughout the rehab pathway
  • Complete rehab assessments
  • Provide support to clients throughout their rehab placements
  • Take charge of the post discharge from rehab process, including aftercare planning
  • Run rehab focused groups within the hubs

 

About you: 

 

  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of drug and alcohol issues and experience of working within a related field. 
  • Knowledge and experience of multi-agency working and establishing partnerships with other professions to achieve good outcomes for the service user group. 
  • Ability to communicate complex information to individuals and groups in a way that is easily understood. 
  • Written and verbal communication skills and a high degree of personal IT competency.
  • The ability to accurately update and maintain records in a timely fashion and to work to deadlines for the submission of information. 
  • Excellent team working and interpersonal skills, maintaining a highly cooperative approach to supporting colleagues in delivering service objectives.
