We have an exciting opportunity for an Community Programme Facilitator to join the Sefton service. Your focus will be on delivering and developing group/pod work programmes, such as Foundations of Recovery, you will be required to deliver group work and working on a one to one basis.

 

No two days are the same and we treat every person who comes into our service as an individual, so being flexible, curious and a good listener are key. 

 

Where: Sefton

Hours: 37.5 per week

Salary: £27,449.52 - £31,529.41 dependent on experience

Responsibilities

About the role: 

  • Supporting service users from point of entry into the service and through their treatment/recovery journey
  • Research, design and prepare subject matter and materials for groups/pods
  • Engage with debriefing and evaluations with co-facilitator/s after groups/pods have taken place
  • Lead on graduation events for service users who have completed the programme
  • Review service user feedback and make adjustments as necessary
  • Tailor specific workshops around the needs of the SUs, such as: anger management, sleep disorders, relationships, etc
  • Research and confirm community venues as needed.

About you: 

  • Experience of working with groups/pods and managing group dynamics, such as conflict or challenging behaviour
  • Experience of Motivational Interviewing and Psycho Social Interventions
  • Ability to understand the specific needs of groups
  • Understanding of evidence based interventions in a group work setting including around substance misuse and offending behaviour (desirable but not essential)
